Mes travaux consistent à mieux comprendre les bases cérébrales du rêve mais aussi l’organisation psychologique du rêve (pourquoi telle représentation plutôt qu’une autre apparait dans le rêve, fonction éventuelle du rêve…)

« RÊVER PENDANT LE CONFINEMENT » de Perrine Ruby a été publié le 11 novembre 2021 aux éditions EDP Sciences.

Quel impact le confinement a-t-il eu sur nos vies ? De quoi avons-nous rêvé ? Quelles métaphores le rêve a-t-il utilisées pour représenter cette situation inédite, sans frontière, menaçante et anxiogène ? Qu’est-ce que ces rêves nous disent sur le ressenti des Français(e)s pendant cette période, sur les enjeux de notre époque ?

Cet ouvrage propose de répondre à ces questions à partir des résultats de l’enquête en ligne « Confinement, Sommeil et Rêves » lancée le 6 avril 2020 dans toute le France. L’analyse de plus de 3 000 réponses permet d’estimer l’impact quantitatif et qualitatif que la crise sanitaire et le confinement ont eu sur nos vies, nos rêves, nos âmes.
